Avengers Eng Game Analysis

The movie I am analyzing in this blog is Avengers End Game. The beginning of the movie used a lot of long shots. For example, when Hawkeye was teaching his daughter how to shoot a bow and arrow. You could see their entire bodies, as well as objects on either side of them. Another common camera angle was medium shot. One example of this being used was when Black Widow was talking to the other avengers. Some examples of mice en scene in the genre that showed up in the beginning of the movie were a house in the countryside, and a spaceship. The house was surrounded by a big grassy field, and a lot of trees. There was a lot of diegetic sound, and also a soundtrack. The beginning consisted mainly of cut scenes, with a couple of dissolve transitions. There wasn't a lot of action in the beginning scenes, however we did get to see what happened to the characters from the last movie. Some elements I liked, were the wide angle of the entire space ship, and the suspense when you don't know if Iron Man will live or die. There weren't any elements I didn't necessarily like.

The middle of the movie is where you start to see more action. Some of the camera angles in the middle of this movie were wide angles, and pan shots. There is a scene that uses a crane shot too. As for mice en scene, they are in a SHIELD building for most of the middle. There is diegetic sound in the middle of the movie. There is also non diegetic sound, and a soundtrack. There was more action in this part of the movie. For example there is a scene where Captan America is fighting himself on a bridge. This scene is a perfect example of what an action movie should have. There were many cutscenes in this part of the movie. Some of the elements i likes were the action, and the suspense. There are still no elements that I disliked in the movie.

Some camera angles used in the end of the movie were tracking shots, wide angles, and eye level shots. When the hulk notices a man sitting on the bench, they use a tracking shot. There was also a medium shot when they showed the hulk looking at Captan America. The mice en scene was a forrest, and the inside of a household many years ago. There was diegetic sound, non diegetic sound, and a soundtrack. There was even a sound motif for Captan America. At the end of the movie, they played a different soundtrack and then rolled the credits. There weren't many elements of action in the end of the movie. Some elements I liked were when they showed what Captan America had been doing when he went back in time. There wasn't any action in the end which was kind of disappointing.
